President Buhari Expresses His Condolences To The Lagos State Government, Concerning The Petrol Tanker Explosion


Nigerian President Buhari expresses his condolences to the government of Lagos State concerning the explosion of a fully laden fuel tanker on Thursday Afternoon at Otedola bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Buhari states this in a statement made available to journalists by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity , Garba Shehu.

Buhari described it as one of the greatest tragedies witnessed in the country in recent times.

The explosion killed nine victims at the scene beyond recognition . Not less than 54 vehicles were burnt. It comprises of the fuel tanker, five buses, two trucks, one tricycle and 45 cars.
