Bus Collides With A Container Truck Killing A Groom And 13 Members Of His Family


A 16-seater van collided with a container truck at about 2.30am on Monday, killing 13 people instantly. Another died later in hospital.
Fourteen members were of the same family and they were on their way to their wedding party when the car crash in central Vietnam .

The groom was also in the vehicle that crashed and he died instantly when their van hit a container truck, police said.
The groom and his family members were heading to the bride’s family home in a neighbouring province when they were involved in an accident in Quang Nam.

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed not to return to the Federal High Court in Abuja where he was standing trial before he left the country. The Federal Government had charged him with treason but Justice Binta Nyako granted him bail after 18 months in detention. Kanu had flouted all the terms of the bail before the military invaded his Abia residence on September 14, 2017. He fled afterwards and resurfaced in Jerusalem on Friday. In a broadcast via  Radio Biafra , Kanu boasted that the Nigerian court lacked the capacity to try him.
