Thomas Lemar Says He Will Give Everything Possible To Win Champions League Title


France's Midfielder , Thomas Lemar, targets Champions League Title this season.

 The 22-year-old, who was part of the France squad that won the World Cup, joined Atletico in a deal worth 72 million euros ($84 million) after three seasons at Monaco.

Here is what he said :

 “I’m going to give everything possible to go the furthest and win this Champions League,” Lemar said Monday as he was unveiled by Atletico following his arrival from Monaco.

 “I know this team demands hard work and I’ll give it my all for the team. If I need to run more, I’ll do it without a problem.”

“I’m looking forward to getting started with my new club, getting to know the staff, my new team-mates and the supporters.”

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed not to return to the Federal High Court in Abuja where he was standing trial before he left the country. The Federal Government had charged him with treason but Justice Binta Nyako granted him bail after 18 months in detention. Kanu had flouted all the terms of the bail before the military invaded his Abia residence on September 14, 2017. He fled afterwards and resurfaced in Jerusalem on Friday. In a broadcast via  Radio Biafra , Kanu boasted that the Nigerian court lacked the capacity to try him.
