How Omisore sold his soul to devil for APC says Fani-Kayode
Femi Fani-Kayode on Sunday accused his cousin, Iyiola Omisore, who contested the Osun state governorship election last September under the platform of the Social Democratic Party(SDP) and has now been dumped by the All Progressives Congress (APC) of selling his soul to the devil.
In a tweet, the former minister of aviation, Fani-Kayode claimed that Omisore did what he termed “dirty job” for the All Progressives Congress, APC, during the governorship election.
He stated this while reacting to report of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, releasing Omisore’s International passport.
Reacting to the development, Fani-Kayode insisted that Omisore’s “infamy and treachery is legendry.”
“So my former cousin, Iyiola Omisore did not get the Senatorial ticket for Ife East from the APC after the dirty job he did?
“The only thing he got from them was his passport. Someone just got served. It never pays to sell your soul to the devil. His infamy and treachery is legendry,” he tweeted.
It will be recalled that the SDP governorship candidate had gone into a coalition with the APC after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared the poll inconclusive and scheduled a rerun.
Three were claims that the APC in a bid to win over the supporters of Omisore had paid him off since the rerun battle was particularly between it and Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
