Police in northern India on Tuesday said that a major manhunt was underway for eight men accused of having sex with a pregnant goat that later died. According to the Police in Dehli , “We have identified three of the eight accused and the police teams are out on raids to arrest them as soon as possible,” police official Naazneen Bhasin told AFP.  The case was launched after the owner of the goat saw three men sexually assaulting the animal late at night last week.  “He initially raised the alarm fearing goat thieves but was shocked at what he saw,” local police inspector Vipin, who only goes by one name, told AFP. The goat died after the alleged incident.  A vet has taken samples for forensic analysis. The accused are also wanted under the animal cruelty act.

Premie Imafidon, kills his 42-Year Old wife, Hope,  by slapping her severely. An Ebute Metta Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, on Tuesday remanded him for the act. The Chief Magistrate, Mrs A.O. Ajibade, remanded Imafidon in Ikoyi Prisons and ordered that the case file should be sent to the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice. Ajibade adjourned the case until Sept. 3. The accused is facing a charge for murder. The offence contravened Section 224 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. Newsmen report that Section 224 stipulates death sentence for murder.

Goddy Inyama, allegedly defiled a 10-year-old girl by raping her through the anus and vagina, before an Ajegunle Magistrate’s Court in Lagos. He has being arraigned by the Lagos state police. The defendant, pleaded not guilty to the offence, is facing a three-count charge of unlawful sexual intercourse, unlawful touching of breast and penetrating the anus.  Inyama, who resides on Sogbesan Street, Ajegunle, in Apapa area of Lagos was docked before Magistrate O. M. Ajayi. The prosecutor, Inspector Augustine Ejembi, told the court that the defendant unlawfully and sexually touched a 10-year-old girl in her vagina.  He said the incident occurred on May 6 at 7p.m. Ejembi said: “Inyama sexually penetrated the anus, vagina and other parts of the victim’s body.  “He had sex with the girl through her anus and vagina and also touched her sexually without her consent.”  Ejembi said the offences are Punishable Under Sections 263 (1), 261 and 137, of the Criminal Laws o

Suspected Hoodlums in Katsina State kidnapped , Alhaji Sabo Musa's son, the Special Adviser on Restoration to the Governor of the state. The police in Katsina State are on the trail to find those suspected hoodlums, who on Saturday allegedly kidnapped that boy. The victim, identified as Jafar, was said to have gone missing while playing with his friends in his parents’ neighbourhood in Katsina, but was later seen a few hours later with a letter said to have been written by the abductors. Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi west explains how he miraculously escaped from the hands of the kidnappers last week. The lawmaker, alleged that his attackers were policemen. The reports by a Facebook User, Adebanwo Adeola Adeliz, shares a disturbing post of a mother who threw her son into a well and ran away from the scene. Adebanwo said the tragedy happened in Ajegunle, Lagos. A 16-seater van collided with a container truck at about 2.30am on Monday, killing 13 people instantly. Another died later in hospital. Fourteen members were of the same family and they were on their way to their wedding party when the car crash in central Vietnam . The groom was also in the vehicle that crashed and he died instantly when their van hit a container truck, police said. The groom and his family members were heading to the bride’s family home in a neighbouring province when they were involved in an accident in Quang Nam. See more photos : 

The Crocodile Handler, Tao, was performing the stunt at the Phokkathara zoo in Chiang Rai, Thailand, in front of around 100 people on Sunday afternoon as usual. As he reached inside the crocodile’s jaws while another keeper looked on, Tao looked at the audience and told the announcer to stop the music. Then, the reptile suddenly clamped Tao’s forearm before violently shaking him from side to side. 45-Year-Old , handler, was heard screaming in pains before managing to free himself and walked out of the stage as held his injured arm. According to spectators who were at the scene said that, the show as all good until that happened. I hope the man is ok says the spectator. He also said when it happened the kids were a little bit scared. He added: I've watched the clip back times to see how it happened and the crocodile seems to not like having the hand in his mouth.'

A powerful earthquake has struck a popular tourist destination in Indonesia, killing at least 14 people. More than 160 people are injured and thousands of homes are damaged, officials say. The 6.4 magnitude quake hit the central island of Lombok just before 07:00 local time (00:00 GMT) on Sunday. The island attracts tourists from around the world due to its beaches and hiking trails, and is located about 40km (25 miles) east of Bali. According to the reports by  BBC ,  Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, a spokesman for the country's disaster agency, said that most casualties occurred when victims were hit by debris and falling blocks of concrete. "The main focus now is evacuation and rescue. Some of the injured are still being treated at clinics," he said.

Mrs Ndidi Odo, has given birth to quintuplets in Nnewi, Anambra State.  The 29-Year-Old mother of the five new-born babies (four boys and a girl) said she didn’t know that she was carrying quintuplets in her womb and that  scan only revealed that she would give birth to twins. She was delivered at God’s Mercy Hospital, Obiuno, Otolo-Nnewi. Hundreds of people gathered to behold the couple, Mr and Mrs Abuchi Odo, and their quintuplets.  According to her, she earlier had three girls which she got one after the other in different pregnancies, saying the girls were followed by triplets (two boys and a girl). She, however, explained that she later lost the boys and was left with four girls, noting that she prepared for her last pregnancy which she hoped would produce a boy only to be blessed with four boys and a girl. Rev.Fr. Cosmas Aguocha, died after being involved in a fatal accident on Friday. Reverend Cosmas was driving the institution's vehicle and ran into a stationary truck just before brewery junction at Awo-Omamma, Imo State. The Spiritan University Nneochi (SUN) confirmed his death on Friday. The also sorrow over the tragic demise of their Reverend, brother and helper to the people. Professor Bongani Mayosi, committed suicide on Friday and it was revealed he did it out of depression. He battled with depression for two years and on that Friday he took the decision to end his life. Professor Bongani was aged 51.  According to the announcement reports by, University of Cape Town where the professor worked, they announced that :  “It is with great sadness that we‚ the Mayosi family‚ announce the passing of our husband‚ son‚ father‚ brother and uncle‚ Bongani Mayosi ". A short Biography about Professor Mayosi : Mayosi was an A-rated National Research Foundation researcher. His research interests included rheumatic fever, tuberculosis, pericarditis and cardiomyopathy. He was also a member of the Academy of Science of South Africa and a former President of the College of Physicians of South Africa before his death.
