Olamide Baddo inspires me – American rapper, Wale

American rapper, Wale has revealed that Olamide Baddo inspires him, saying the singer is one of the most inspiring son writers he has come across. The Nigerian-American artiste, whose real name is Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, says he looks up to rapper Olamide Adedeji. He also described the YBNL record label founder as a “fast worker” who is very talented. The rapper made this known in an interview with Okay- Africa, saying “he’s(Olamide) one of the fastest workers and one of the most dynamic writers I know in any genre. “He’s very, very talented. I look up to him a lot in that sense.” When asked about his relationship with Davido, he said: “I’ve known him for a long time. I think I met him in DC several years ago. Legendary Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has told friends he is “worried” that the club he transformed into serial winners are in danger of becoming a circus act, the UK Mirror reports. Under Ferguson, United not only won 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League gongs, but training ground problems were usually kept in house. The Scot returned to Old Trafford last Saturday for the first time since suffering a major stroke in May to witness the 1-1 draw with Wolves. After the game, Ferguson confessed he was worried about the negative publicity surrounding the club. He also believes that bringing Paul Pogba back to the club for a record £89million fee was not a good idea. Sir Alex is not alone with this opinion in the Old Trafford boardroom. Jurgen Klopp blames one player for Chelsea’s goal

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has blamed a mistake by his defenders especially Virgil van Dijk for Chelsea’s goal against the Reds on Saturday. Cameras caught Klopp seriously talking to the defender after the match as they walked off the pitch. While the German gaffer commended many of his players and gave goalscorer Daniel Sturridge a big hug, Van Dijk received a lengthy tactical debrief. The Dutch defender looked somewhat forlorn but acknowledged his manager’s words before heading down the tunnel. Speaking after the match, Klopp told BT Sport, “I think we made exactly one mistake – and they used it. But that’s football. “On a very high level, that can happen. It should not, but can. Rotten tomatoes (ISHAN) cause cancer – NAFDAC warns Nigerians

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) on Friday warned Nigerians against the consumption of rotten tomatoes to forestall cancer. Mrs. Christiana Essenwa, a Deputy Director with the agency, gave the warning in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Onitsha. According to her, rotten tomatoes contain micro organisms that induce cancer. She explained that “once tomatoes become rotten, it will have micro organisms, mostly fungi, and fungi in rotten tomatoes produce mycotoxins, which are deadly and induce cancer, and cause immune deficiency in man and animals. “Mycotoxins are deadly, and can cause all sorts of poisoning in the body,” the director said. She said that some research suggested that mycotoxins could also cause kidney damage. According to her, some people think that rotten tomatoes, which are cheap, can be consumed after washing and heating. She, however, stressed that the toxins could not be washed or killed b

Manchester United star, Paul Pogba has told his teammates that he would go on strike. This is as his war with manager, Jose Mourinho threatens to reach a new level, according to the Mirror. Mourinho and the player he signed back from Juventus have been at loggerheads for much of the season. Television cameras picked up a frosty exchange between them during training at Carrington on Wednesday morning following a defeat to Derby County in the Carabao Cup. The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, said on Saturday, identified money based politics as a major factor responsible for unprecedented corruption and bad governance in Nigeria. Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said that his overhead bicycle kick goal for Real Madrid against his current club in the Champions League last season was better than Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s goal which won the FIFA goal of the year award. Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, expresses his disappointment  about Paul Pogba’s poor performance in their 3-1 loss to West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday. Manchester United were beaten 3-1 at the London Stadium on Saturday. The relationship between Mourinho and Pogba came under further strain this week when they were at the centre of an argument during a training session.  Mourinho also told Pogba this week that he will never captain a United side again, a decision which is reportedly due to concerns over the midfielder’s attitude. A former minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, on Saturday defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to United Democratic Party, UDP. Mrs. Alhassan resigned from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet today, following her disqualification by the ruling party to contest for governor of Taraba State. Recall that the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party took the decision to axe Mrs. Alhassan based on the report of the party’s Governorship Aspirants Screening Committee. Security guard supposedly runs mad after overdosing in Lagos

A security guard reportedly ran mad temporarily , on Thursday, in Lekki, Lagos, after allegedly overdosing on tramadol and other hard drugs. The scenario left  confusion amongst residents as he started  harassing them. He was later tied up before being handed over to the police.

BREAKING NEWS: Mama Taraba officially resigns from Buhari govt, APC

Senator Aisha Alhassan aka Mama Taraba, has resigned her membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Aisha has also quit the Buhari government as a Minister  of Women Affairs. In her letter to the President dated Saturday, 29 September, 2018, the former Minister thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the opportunity to serve. Mama Taraba recalled how she was duly screened and cleared before her appointment and how she also notified the President of her interest in contesting for the Taraba governorship seat. Burial of Baba Ari, Nigerian pilot who died in NAF aircraft crash (Photos)

Bello Mohamed Baba-Ari, the Nigerian Air Force pilot, who died in a F-7Ni aircraft crash in Abuja on Friday, has been buried according to Islamic rites. Reports say three pilots were involved in the crash but two were able to eject from their aircraft, apparently, Baba-Ari’s aircraft’s ejection mechanism failed, and as the fighter jet crash-landed on the rocks of Katampe, Abuja, he died on the spot. One of the two pilots who successfully ejected from their own jets, later died in hospital, leaving only one survivor. The identity of the second deceased pilot is yet to be made clear. Already, President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the Nigeria Air Force, as well as the families of the deceased officers, while a presidential delegation had visited the lone survivor in the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
